Oh my deep blue sky,What should I gift the wicked eye boy,
To change his heart into gold,
So he can see the goodness in me?
"Why bother?” Came the reply,
I was shocked, rather confused,
"You are the best you can be,
If he can’t see that, then I think,
You would rather let it be"
It struck me like a lightening,
Of all that I had heard.
To be happy for myself,
I didn’t need anyone to see me,
All I needed was to be ME.
