The Burnt Face

Posted on the 22 March 2013 by Fizz @ThePoetsAlley
The Burnt FaceI used to be a,
Handsome man,
Till the curse was,
Thrown onto me.
Now even the mirror,
Gets scared to see me,
In the face.
Parents, frighten their,
Children with my name,
I shudder to think,
What I have become.
I used to have a family,
A child of my own,
A wife to love.
All this,
Taken away,
By the curse,
That burnt it all.
It left me,
With a broken heart,
And yet I still am alive.
I call it,
LIFE,
Where Irony has to,
Always have its way.
