The Corner

Posted on the 03 October 2014 by Sreesha @petrichor_blore

The shadows fall on every corner,Coloring the world to remind me of you,Focused gaze falters as another stranger, another face,Around the corner, smiles and it resembles you.
This is a journey to redemption, So many past wrongs to right,Distractions force a halt; like the memory of a dreamSurface on my mind, your eyes, on a dark night.
Reality is rude, it jerks me wide awake,A million illusions to walk through, While life waits on standby,To be called upon, but nasty dreams flow through.
Another corner to turn on this roundabout life,Smiling faces, farcical joys and fickle relationships,They show their concerns, but behind their masks, mere curiosity,To report to a neighbor, more juicy tidbits.Copyright Petrichor and Clouds 2013 at petrichorandclouds.blogspot.com Please do not reproduce the material published here.
