The Eve of Destruction, #658

Posted on the 18 April 2013 by Juliezaz1 @juliezaz1

This, blog readers,  is an evil mad scientist who roams through my house every day trying to figure out which item would be the most fun to destroy.  Just look at that naughty evil doer!

Wilbur

I know what you’re thinking.  ”Awwww….he looks so cute.”  Don’t let his adorable expression fool you, because I’m going to tell you about our very expensive CATasrophie this week.

I was sitting on the sofa, and my kids were with me playing.  Suddenly, this bad kitty jumped up on our flat screen TV.  Somehow, the TV unbolted from the wall.  Scared by the sudden loud noise and activity, kitty jumped onto our fireplace mantel and also knocked over a ceramic bowl made by my daughter in a clay class and a beautiful ceramic and glass picture frame that was given to us when she was born.  All destroyed!

Hundreds of dollars later and a phone call placed to our handyman, we have a new TV, which in the long run has better features than the last TV.  I am not forgiving this culprit, however.  Yes, he appears to be cute and cuddly, but this is the REAL personality that comes out when he goes into his evil destruction mode:

Super Kitty

There you go, folks: sinister Super Kitty off on another evil mission!!!!

My song of the day is Barry McGuire’s 1960′s hit “Eve of Destruction,” because it’s always the “eve of destruction” in my house! Click HERE to go to Youtube to hear the song as I walk around and baby proof my house from the biggest varmint around.  Who knows what today will bring!
