The Passionate Writer: Quotes, Prompts & More to Inspire Your Blogging, Writing & Creativity (Let Your Words Flow) Let Your Words Flow - Write, Create, Be!

Ready to be inspired to be a more passionate writer and blogger? The Passionate Writer is another inspirational series from the Let Your Words Flow Program.

The month of July will be filled with quotes, prompts and more for you to be even more passionate in your writing and blogging. Each day I will create a number of prompts for you to play with either now or in the future.

Whenever you feel like you need some extra ooomph for your writing, you can trust the Passionate Writer will be here for you.

If this is your first visit, you will want to visit our Let Your Words Flow Guide so that you will receive the most value from the life changing content you find here.

Also - feel free to add any writing you do in response to the prompts in the comments or as a link to your blog in the comments. This series is for you - and I have learned when we get together to write we discover new stuff and sometimes that stuff wants to be "heard" by others... and sometimes it doesn't. Know you are welcome to be here in whatever way calls and compels you in your specific creative adventure.

Now - on with today's inspiration -

Quote:

"Be ignited. Or be gone."

Mary Oliver

Iimage Prompt: Be Ignited. Or Be Gone. Mary Oliver - quotes, prompts and more Image Prompt: Stare into this and write...

Questions:

What comes to mind when you consider “being ignited?”

When you are “on fire” about something, what happens?

Think for a moment about how you would rate yourself on a passion scale from 1 - 10. Where do you land on the scale for your life work? How about for the most important people in your life? The place you live?

This may seem extreme, but what would happen in this world if people could "be gone" because they lacked passion?  Or does this happen? Take a moment to write about both - that it is possible to die from lack of passion or that it is IMpossible to die from lack of passion. Just free write, no forethought just write....

 Lists:

Make a list of 3 - 5 times you were “ignited” about a cause, an idea, an event, a person.

Make a list of “what happened” when you were ignited/passionate at that level?

Make a list of 2 - 3 possible new causes, ideas, events, people, possibilities that stir your passion now.

Make a list of actions you are willing to take and what you’re willing to do to bring more passion to your life

Conventional Prompts:

The idea of being passionately "on fire" reminds me of the time when....

When I'm on fire, I act like....(feel like, smell like, look like, etc.)
