Here we go, Go, GO!!!!!
It’s the 1st day of camp, and when my alarm went off this morning at 5:30, I pushed my tiredness aside and jumped right out of bed! And then I went and woke up my camp director husband, who would never normally be awake at this hour but is today! There is excitement in the air, a ton of work to do and so many amazing camp songs to be sung,
It is such an exciting day for each of us in my family, as we are all involved with camp. I will admit in being a bit envious of my kiddos, because there is nothing better than actually being a camper. That is why when we grow up we become camp directors and song leaders. Yes, this has been as life long obsession, and now the best time of year is here.
So here we go, Go, GO……into “Those Lazy Hazy Crazy Days of Summer” as said by Nat King Cole. I’m not exactly sure what’s lazy about them, but yes, “I wish that summer could always be here!”
