Standing across the banks
Of a river of separation
We stare at the same moon
Peaceful and serene, no reek of desperation
It is enough for me to know you're there
It's enough to see the moon shine on you
I know of the number of miles
But in thoughts, I am eternally with you
The moon and stars are forever together
But never do they come nearer to each other
And yet no love is lost between one and the other
My love for you, like the moon and stars
Transcends above all
