Someone or something I could definitely live without…
Do you know those people? Those people are the people who come to work in the mornings, already complaining upon entering the building. I actually know quite a few of them.
Those people who enter the teachers’ lounge during the break and huddle together and complain: about the weather, about their course materials, about the classroom, about the computers, the students…
Especially the students, they don’t seem to be able to do anything right by those people. Sure, let’s be honest here, every now and then there comes a student along who makes your blood boil; but every freaking day?! No way.
Are those people just this tired, jaded, or fed up with their jobs? Or are they mentally and physically incapable of enjoying what they are allowed to do every day, i.e. the teaching of young minds?
I could certainly live without those people.
