I think religion should be something private, something that one practices and enjoys at home or at a certain, pre-determined place where people (of the same religion) meet (church, mosque, temple, or synagogue).
If I had any say in the matter, religion would not permeate into politics or education (for other than educational purposes). I do not think people should run around with giant crosses on necklaces, skullcaps or niqabs. I think a prayer room in public buildings is unnecessary.
Everybody should be allowed to practice their own faith, but I think it should remain a private matter.
