A few weeks ago I went in search of a few goodies. I found these. Aren't they so retro! As many of you will have heard if you watch my YouTube videos and read this blog, I love vintage! My whole room next year is going to be kitted out in vintage. So, in collecting these little pieces I can really add to the effect of it all. The first thing I brought was The Modern Book for Girls. It contains a mixture of stories and I haven't really read any of them so I can't really comment. However; if you want to hear more about them I can do so in the form of a video or a blog I will let you decide. The book was £1!! The second thing I got was this Comet 126x camera, my friend scared me by reminding me of a Stephen King novel about antique cameras; which I wasn't impressed with! However; I got the camera for... £2! I was so happy. I'm going to keep it as a vintage piece and hope that the price will increase like when I brought the first edition of Cluedo in 2010. The reason the price was so low was down to the fact the films can't be processed any more and a lot of other complications to do with photography. I also got some really girly postcards these both came to £1.20. So overall, the trip came to less than £10. Which makes a student like me very happy!
