Don Henley's voice flashes in my inner ear.

"Kick 'em when they're up,
Kick 'em when they're down..."

I manage to totally elimate the fact I have piles and piles of literal dirty laundry in a variety of places around my living space - nothing is the norm when one lives in a construction zone - when lyrics from somewhere in 80's or 90's and a brief perusal of his life via Google, I discover why such a song may have been written.

A bigger "a-ha" and something oh, so not "dirty laundry-esque" I didn't realize The Walden Woods Project was founded by Henley.

We have a shared love, the Eagles Drummer and I.

Transcendentalists and free association. The fun way "bubble headed bleach blondes" sounds when you sing or say it,  desperados and more connect us as does a never ending pile of clothes waiting for us to wake up, pay attention, write and for goodness sakes, take care of your dirty laundry.

One must realize Thoreau loved laundry from this telling quote, "Distrust any enterprise that requires new clothes." Here, here, Henry!

Did I mention between the time I wrote the rough draft of this and now, I started a load of... yes... dirty laundry....
