War Horse

War HorseOn Thursday me, Mom, Dad and sister went to the Princess of Wales Theatre to see War Horse. First we sat down and I had a really good view until a tall person with big hair sat down in front of me. I had to go ask for a booster seat. After that I could see well, we sat in L23-L27 which is about the center of the theater. The show was good and the horses moved like real horses. You can forget that they are not real. The play was pretty good, it wasn't too sad, they could have made it a lot sadder. Everything was good. The first big gunshot was frightening and made me jump. There was a lot of explosions and bright lights but I got use to them. In the beginning of the play when the foal turns into the horse, they rip the foal in half! The big horse then came from the back through the middle. I thought the way they did the languages was interesting. They were all talking English but acting like they were speaking French or German and didn't understand each other. They just used French and German accents. Overall I'd say it was equally funny and sad.
The sinks in the washrooms were like gentle waterfalls (barely enough water to get your hands wet). At first when I was in a stall I thought the sound of it was someone peeing. The sink was confusing everyone because they didn't know how to turn it on. I think it just turned on when you walked up to it but stopped in a few seconds so you had to dance around to get it to turn back on.
