I’ve been on a slight “summer intermission”, or “blog break” — if you will– but I’m back in the saddle!
Here’s what you missed…
Before I left, I was super excited about attending the Ladies’ Day Off event in Jacksonville, and it certainly didn’t disappoint! I had an absolute blast meeting the coordinators and chatting it up with the vendors at the event. (Oh and my VIP Goodie Bag was to die for!) Check out their website for more info and recap photos. Next stop… La-La Land! (Sunny California)
The hubs and I took a trip cross-country for fun with friends in Cali– actually, to say we had fun is quite the understatement! It was the hubs’ first non-business trip to Cali, so we had to tackle the tourist-y stuff first… Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre, Hollywood sign, Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles, In-N-Out Burger… yada-yada-yada!
Then we moved on to “Fun with Friends”!
My besties, Chez’Ney and Lee, live Cali and our favorite couple, The Wilburs, moved out there a few months ago so… Life is Good! We got to “eat, drink, and be merry” with our west coast favorites! And to turn good to better– While we visited, my Lee got married to Nader, and a few of our classmates were also in town for the wedding! Can I just tell you how excited I was!? (You know how much I love my classmates!)
So there you have it! I was on a min-hiatus, but I wasn’t just sitting around picking my nose, I had to pause for the cause! (I couldn’t be glued to my phone on vacation, could I?)
