What I wanted,Was for us to meet,
Talk and share,
With no regrets.
What I got,
Was a stiff reply,
And many excuses,
As to why you couldn’t meet.
What I wanted,
Was for you to,
Acknowledge me,
And see me for who I was.
What I got,
Was the realization,
That you didn’t,
Care anymore.
What I wanted,
Was for you to,
Finally get down,
And propose.
What I got,
Was my broken heart,
That now curses,
Your very Existence.
