What Should I Read Next?

What should I read next?

With the holidays starting (this is not a post about my ginormous holidays - I'm a teacher, you want my hols - do my job, it's that easy) it's time to snuggle down in a lounger in the shade and ask the most important question of the day.

To answer this question, I did the obvious, I asked Google. The all knowing one answered me with the same question.

 what should I read next? is a great website, key in the title of a book and it will do exactly what it says on the box.

I went on and did the obvious , (I'm just that kinda  gal ) and tried out a few of my favourites. With some quite surprising results.

Room by Emma Donoghue brings up Zen and the Art of motorcycle maintenance, Lord of the Rings leads to Calvin & Hobbes, One Hundred years of Solitude takes us to Moby Dick, and The Handmaid's tale suggests a Passage to India.

Very strange. I've just read the Sealed Letter by Emma Donoghue, but I'm not going for the site's suggestion, the author recommended Breathing lessons by Anne Tyler, so that's where you'll find me curled up this evening.

If you have any suggestions of your own please fling them in the comments box below.

Where to put the books once they've been read is a problem solved since kindle became a part of my life, not the most important part, despite what my children think, but up there with food, drink and oxygen nonetheless.

The other day my son peered over my shoulder as I was looking at this;

What should I read next?

"Is that your dream home?" He asked, well yes I suppose it is, but actually I was just drooling though the beautiful libraries website. If you have a few minutes, even if you are not off work for the next three months, then I suggest you come and drool too.
