I’ve been sick the last couple of days. It’s a deep deep cough and my whole body just feels blech! It’s so tough being a mother and wife and being sick. My husband, bless his heart, does everything he can to relieve me of my usual responsibilities, but man….the kids show no mercy at all. I’m supposed to be Super Mom, afterall….at ALL times!
My Mom called yesterday morning to check in on me. ”How would you like it if I dropped off some chicken soup? I even have the matzah balls.” ”Do you have to make it,” I asked. No, it was in her freezer, of course, because she is the real and original Super Mom!
I am so blessed to have such a Super Mom in my life, and my song of the day is the prettiest little acoustic tune by Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors called “What Would I Do Without You?” Supposedly it appeared on an episode of “How I Met My Mother.” So appropriate, huh?
