Gosh – I can not believe it’s already Wednesday! Before I jump into WIAW, I wanted to share a couple pictures from my Vegas weekend. It was amazing, I will do a full recap, once we compile all the pictures! I am still in shock I went to Vegas for a bachelorette party!

I was up at 6:15am with no alarm… I know crazy, right!? So, I started my day with some blogging and was planning on doing a light workout but got wicked hungry so I cooked up one of my all-time favorite breakfasts, protein pancakes. [overnight oats are up there too]
They did not disappoint.
I let my breakfast digest and went for a quick 30 min run around the neighborhood. I seriously love running. Every time I go for a run, I am so happy I did it, and I always think about signing up for a ½ marathon so I have something to train for. Any suggestions for Boston area ½ marathons?
After my run, I had ½ a banana and some other random nibbles around the kitchen.
By noon, I was hungry for lunch and was craving some of my new favorite bread, Ezekiel.
I made myself a turkey sandwich with Tribe Hummus, lettuce, mustard and a pickle on the side. I have to tell you, it feels good to eat clean and balanced meals. So often, I snack my way through the day. I seriously feel so much better about myself when I eat balanced meals. I guess I should do it more often, DUH!
Side Note: I wrote this post as the day progressed. So after every meal I wrote about how I felt and what I did. Around 4pm, my stomach started to kill me. This usually happens if I eat a lot of crap or snack my way through the day, but today I ate balanced meals. I felt so bloated and gassy… it sucked.
When my stomach feels like this I want to eat because for a couple minutes it feels better. So, for dinner I had some Vegi Soup my Foodie PenPal gave me. [It looks gross, but tastes pretty good.]
Overall it was a good day of eating. It’s a bummer my stomach hurt, and continued to hurt throughout the week, but in a way it’s a good thing because I wasn’t snacking on sugar and sweets and I was still in pain, so I know my tummy issues have to be with something more than just eating crappy sometimes.
[Edited to add] My stomach issues continue… so I am cutting out gluten for the time being and seeing if that will help at all. I will keep you updated
