Working

Hey guys, sorry I haven't made a post in a while. I've been busy; I have a job now.... kinda. It's not a permanent job, just helping out a family friend with his landscaping business because he is injured, but for the last couple days I've actually been getting up and going to work in the morning, and I will tomorrow, and probably everyday this week at least.
I'll be honest, I don't like the job, the weather is sunny and 30+ degrees which is great for the beach, but not so much for mowing lawns and pulling weeds. I drank an entire 2 liter of mountain dew today and I'm still thirsty. I guess it isn't a bad job, and I feel I could actually enjoy it after a while. But it isn't my job, I was in the process of applying for jobs and stuff and this just came up and my aunt just came up to me and said she got me a job and I have to get up at 7 and go to work. I didn't pick the job, it was given to me. I don't know why that bothers me, I guess it just makes me feel like it wasn't me responsible for getting my shit together. But yeah, temporary, I'll have to find another one when this one is over.
Working is something we all have to do. It's not fun, at least not until you can find some sort of work that you want to do. Off topic:: I am eating this wrap I got from a chevron, it's fucking amazing, I don't know why it tastes so good. I hate onions, but they seem to do something to this wrap that renders it irresistible. Back on:: That is the difference between a job and a career, jobs are just a means to support you on your way to finding a career. Just gotta say fuck it and do what you have to to make it to the next weekend, then the party commences. At least you make money.
This is my first actual job by the way, for someone other than my family. I was brought up lazy, I kinda regret not starting work sooner, its hard to change your ways, I want to be someone who is stoked to get up in the morning and get shit done, but I'm not.
Thats it for now, I'm pooped. I'mma take a nap.
