X and X Are Sitting in a Tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G!

Posted on the 22 February 2012 by Bvulcanius @BVulcanius

Today the weirdest thing happened. I was just casually walking from one classroom to the other, when I caught something from the corner of my eye. Two of my female co-workers were standing in the students’ office, they took each other’s hands and kissed each other on the lips!

What the heck is going on? That two people want to kiss each other is fine by me. However, I think work is neither the time nor the place for it, especially with all those kids running around. And why would you kiss on the lips? Wouldn’t a peck on the cheek be sufficient? But what bothers me the most about all this is that one of them actually said to me once (when I told her about spending time with a colleague outside of the workplace on a more personal level) that she thought that work relationships should stay just that: work relationships. I think this is kind of hypocritical and it bothers me.

Besides the fact that, in this case, it just looked yucky.
