Yet Another Night's Gone By

Posted on the 01 February 2015 by Sreesha @petrichor_blore
Pain...Is what makes me pluckAt the threads of my heartUntil the unraveled stitches lay bareTo heal, I may never start.
Into too many vacant spacesand silencesI have whispered prayers asking you to come backBut silence echoes back...A reminder of youEven in them.
I miss you not, for those words are meaninglessFar too simple to convey what I fee,
A gash you left and inEmpty moments, I hear phantom laughterNever again will you be by my sideWhy?  I wish, you had left with a goodbyeBut because you didn't... Say yes to meeting me todayMake me wait no longer, come what mayI have hungered far too longFor a glimpse of you, for those eyes so deep and your gaze so bright
I know you're so far away and yet,I knew I waited since the day we met,Who knows what strength there is to be derivedIn waiting for a lover to return,For call me not into those vacant halls,Where you no longer reside
In the attic of my mind,A single thought of youIs like a single candleBurning in a dark templeAfter dusk,Like golden hope
This storm of memoriesDrowns meFrom a lost cornerI hear u call meAgainMy mind has forgottenYou're goneLeaving me hereAlone...Waiting...While another night's gone by...
