hyp·o·crite
[hip-uh-krit] noun 1. a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she doesnot actually possess, especially a person whose actions belie stated beliefs. 2. a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, especially one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements. Origin:1175–1225; Middle English ipocrite < Old French < Late Latin hypocrita < Greek hypokritḗs a stageactor, hence one who pretends to be what he is not, equivalent to hypokrī́ ( nesthai ) (see hypocrisy) + -tēs agent suffix If you are a hypocrite, you are an actor. Someone who pretends. If you are oblivious, you are one who does not see. If you are angered, you cannot be. If you are not, then you are not. Today in Health class, I was sitting in the back, where I always sit. Listening to the regular tense banter between our teacher, Mr.See and the students. Let's define these students for you: They are Hypocrites. They demand respect, in a place where they give none. They say they do not tolerate bullying, where they are the bullies. They crush the teasers, but are the first ones to make a crack about someone. These things are invisible to people. You do not see them, unless you see them. Read that again, You do not see them, unless you see them. So, this teacher tried all the tactics every single teacher ever has: Threats, "Go sit in the hall" Indifference, "Doesn't bother me if you don't get a good grade" Explanation," you won't get a good grade because you're choosing not to listen" Reasoning," I respect you, so you should respect me by listening to me." I understand there are limits to the humans ability to reason, threaten, explain and be apathetic to another. I getcha. Tots. But this is ridiculous. You are ridiculous. And in a society today, you cannot be ridiculous. You cannot say one thing, and be another. Because not everyone is blind. Not everyone is stupid. Not everyone is Naive. Coming from someone who see's you, actually see's you, here's what I see: You cannot stand. A person of two minds, who doubts, a person who serves two master, who cheats. Someone so divided against them self either in beliefs or in true characteristics cannot stand as them self. You cannot speak one thing, and act as another. You two faced liar. I'm sorry these words are so bitter. I'm sorry you might not understand what I'm trying to say. If that's how it is, it's alright, don't take anything by it. Just, go find one of my happy posts-pay this one no mind... But if you do understand, Let's make this change? Gins are heavy, and they don't stick very well. But you need to keep to your morals in order to stand. If you don't know what those are, I suggest you go back to the basics-Find you, and make it better. Because, if you are a two faced lying hypocrite, You will not stand through the storms of this life. You will hurt the people around you And you will be alone. I'm sorry.
I never want to fall. And I know this change needs to start with me So let it be. God bless ya'll, Have a great Tuesday! GodBless LizB
