I could feel you everywhere,
Except that you weren't,
Actually there.
With time, you just became,
Too toxic and I had to,
Take a stand.
I walked away too late,
Like a shadow,
I can't get you out of my skin.
And every day since,
Has been sheer torture,
I am trying hard to forget you.
But the temptation to see you,
Keeps haunting me,
Just one look!!!!
I fight each day as it comes,
Hoping to someday meet you,
And feel no pain.
