There is nothing like a Mama. She is THAT person. The one you call when you need advice. The voice in the back of your head telling you wrong from right. The encouragement you need when you are unsure of yourself. The one who builds up your confidence and brings you back down to Earth when your head is up in the clouds. And especially – she is the one who taught you how to be a Mama, too.
Mama’s are worth celebrating, and my Mama should get that recognition every single day – not just on Mother’s Day. Here she is – that beautiful lady who is always there through every step of the way.
She is a true lady.
And a confidant to share a glass of wine with.
A woman who appreciates “girl time” with any generation.
And a sweet Grandma to my children, too.
