I completely forgot about these photos which I randomly came across recently. They were are all coincidently taken about 2 / ½ half years ago.
This photo was taken of my twinny and myself in Cardiff – we love it there! Abz was trying on some stupidly tall shoes and I was dragged into the photo to make me look like a shortarse to show the height difference.
I rocked the ombré look for at least two years and I was even ‘too late’ on the trend wagon when I originally got it bleached like that. Even the hairdresser questioned “Why do you want this?” “To look like everyone else, obviously!” okay I didn’t reply with that, ha. Although I’m assuming that is what he was inferring. I only recently dyed over the blonde (been meaning to blog about this for a while now. I’ve only just started a blog and I’m already lagging, opps.)
Photo was taken on the same holiday, obviously not in the summer as I’m wearing my faux fur coat. Thought I would experiment with a filter tutorial to make the photo more interesting.. you like?

Genuinely really happy to rediscover this photo taken on the day I passed my driving test about 2 ½ + years ago now. I think my filter effect looks really good on this photo.
As promised – just download the png file and place it as the top layer in Photoshop. You will need to change the layer mode – I think ‘Overlay’ looks nice but you may find that another mode suits your image more so. Use the transform tool (ctrl + T) to size the filter image up or down to fit your own preset.
