We have a split level house. There's a flight of stairs right inside the front door and we have one of these vents at the top of the stairs. As you start to walk up, it slowly gets right at eye level with you. I hate how gross it looks and it's the first thing I see every time I come in the house. I would love to redo that vent to look a bit nicer like this.
I would love to try hand painting a few things like this. We already have way too many mugs, but I think it would be fun to hand paint a vase or a plant pot. I like the pattern on this mug too.
I'm pretty sure everyone is still buzzing about this project, me included. I've had my eye on it for a long time. For me, decorating the walls is the most challenging part of putting a house together. I get tired of picture frame after picture frame and would love to have something unique and interesting like this. This would look great in our kitchen on a smaller scale and it would also look awesome in the living room. Plus, I'd love some more shelving to display things.
