Alright, y'all! I turn 35 today!! I seriously can NOT believe this for several reasons some positive and some not so positive. I don't feel or look like I am 35 years old. (Side note: If anyone wants to feel "young" again go to Oregon. They ID for EVERYTHING! I felt so good about myself.) On the other side of the coin, this is not where I saw myself at age 35.
For my 35th birthday, I thought I would share 35 things I have learned in 35 years. I hope y'all enjoy and if you have anything you want to add tell me in the comments. 1. Self-care is mandatory2. You can get through it no matter what you think3. Things aren't always about me4. Moderation is ok to a certain extent5. You don't have to be everything to everyone. You just can't6. I am not perfect. 7. Always be a student. Never stop learning8. Or claim that you know it all. We don't9. Saying NO is ok10. It's ok to ask for help11. Believe in yourself12. Quality over Quantity13. Be nice to everyone14. Find a hobby and do it often. (For me it's crocheting)15. Write down all your goals and post them where you can see them16. The grass isn't always greener on the other side17. Always be honest18. Look people in the eye19. A hug goes a long ways20. Don't worry so much. It usually works itself out. 21. Create a workout routine early and stick with it. 22. Try new things. 23. Forgive yourself and others24. Have a plan but be alright if it doesn't go exactly to plan25. You are a combination of the 5 people closest to you26. Accumulate experiences not things27. Change is the constant in life28. Embrace each other differences29. Listen to your gut30. Don't judge a book by its cover31. Travel/visit/live in a place you don't know anyone at least once in your life32. Debt is serious business. Never to early to learn about finances33. Start now 34. Please and thank you are a must35. Never say NeverThere you have it. What do you think of the list? Did I miss anything? Let me know in the comments below.
