“Hi, Ria!”“What the hell, pinging me at midnight?!”thought she.
Appear offline to this person. She clicked on to that option, took a deep breath saying,”Thank Mark, for providing this option!”And continued to work on her DBMS project.But, Sanjay was still getting her updates on facebook!“These gals seem to think they are a way too smart! Huh! Such a crap to have behaved so rudely to me! Doesn't she know that if Mark provided her with “Appear Offline” option,I too have also been provided with “Unfriend” one.”
UNFRIENDHe knew somewhere deep inside his heart, that he didn't want to do this, but male ego, you see!He closed his laptop, repenting his hasty decision, for Sam had warned him of each and every consequence of each decision he was expected to take, as soon as ‘HE’ falls into a relationship.Sam and Gaurav were still awake, Sam, as usual was chatting with his girlfriend,Priya and Gaurav who was busy with his sole girlfriend, the Wall Street Magazine.Unlike Sanjay, who always wanted to get into an engineering field, Gaurav always wanted to pursue commerce and get into a top grade B-School. No doubts, he had such a genius mind too, but again parental pressures came his way and ended up in an engineering school. Sam was like a free bird, wherever the wind would take him, he had decided to move along.Sanjay entered the room still masking his gloomy face.“Hey Sanjay!” greeted Gaurav.“Hmm...Hi” came a reply.“What happened, again got interrogated or what?” and there was a sudden smirk among the men.There seemed to be a silence in the room as if any comment next made, would lead to a tornado of disgust and anger. The wise men preferred to remain silent and continued to work & chat on their laptops.The clocked ticked 960 times before a voice was heard in this sudden long silence and rightly it was Sanjay’s.“I removed her from my friend list!” he said.“Why?” was the first reaction from both the men who had not even in their nightmares imagined this.Sam got a proud feeling arising in his heart for having survived a relationship for almost two long years!“Because of her rude behavior!” replied he.“Slangs? OMG!”Exclaimed Sam.”Ria had always told me, she never uses them!”
“No yaar, she cannot use slangs and she didn’t. The problem is…”he continued to whatever had been just experienced by him.“And you Unfriend her?”Yelled Sam.“Yea.What other option did I have!”
“So, you don’t repent your decision right?”Asked Sam as if he was fully enjoying his friend’s state, feeling, everyone has to go through it!“No, the problem is I do! How do I talk to her now?”Asked Sanay to Sameer, as if he was an expert at all these matters.Meanwhile, Gaurav, who pretended to be least interested in the conversation silently thanked his Wall Street for not being gifted with speech.5 DAYS LATERSanjay, Sam and Gaurav are having their cappuccino at CCD where Sam notices Ria being seated alone at one of the corner tables and enjoying Chocó lava.“Hi,Ria” said Sam.“Oh Hi, Sameer! How come you here?”Questioned Ria.Sam pointing out to the table at the opposite end where Sanjay sat with his head bowed down ,said “I’ve come here with my friends. Was getting hell lot bored. So thought of Cappuccino. You? Priya?”“Same reason.Priya was busy with some of her assignments and I wanted to eat this, so am here!”“Why don’t you join us, Ria?”offered Sam.“No, I’m fine here! Thankyou!”
“Arey,C’mon..Join us”
“Umm..Okay!”Said she and took her Fast track bag in one hand while Sam carried her half eaten Chocó lava to their table.“Meet my friends..He’s Gaurav..He’s Sanjay!”.
“Hi,Gaurav!”Greeted Ria.This was very well expected from Sanjay.“You Unfriend me?”Remarked Ria and giggled as if she knew how much Sanjay later was struggling with his decision.“No..Umm..No...Actually, I wanted to see the options provided below the Unfriend bar..So, was trying out and I don’t know how, it got clicked on that!”Explained Sanjay as Ria listened continuously nodding her head just to show she was overdoing it.“You could have, sent me once again, explaining me the same via message?”
“Yea...Yea…I could have done that na? No Problem, I’ll do that as soon as I reach home.”said he,with a wide smile as Sam and Gaurav,sat there noticing him.4th Part on its way! :)
