4 Things You Don't Know About Me | Vol. 1

I have been following Meg from Roads and Rivers for quite some time. She does a series 5 things you don't know about me. She has so many fun facts about herself that I absolutely love. I've always told her that I am going to "borrow" the idea. So many times I go to blogs want to find little fun facts about the blogger. 

1. I consider myself a southerner. While growing in Arkansas, I wanted nothing to do with the southern traditions. I wanted to go back to Iowa with my family. Now that I am grown I love the fact I grew up in Arkansas. 

2. My first major in college was music. I went to Henderson State University in Arkadelphia my first semester. It didn't quite work out for several reasons. Overall I'm glad that I am not a music teacher, but I still wish I had my clarinet. 

3. I was a difficult teenager. Honestly, I don't think I was that difficult but my parents would always threaten me with boarding school. AND I wanted to go, but it was an empty threat. 

4. I'm shy when I first meet a person. I tend to be in the background then once I feel comfortable I tend to start talking a lot more.
