Have you ever purchased a product before just because of its packaging? *Raises hand* Oh yeah, I’m guilty because it’s cute and I can’t resist so that justifies it? My beloved friend Val of Dull to Doll put some of her makeup on sale last year. Most of them are still brand new so it’s such a steal to buy from her. I spotted this lipstick and no matter how I convince myself that the shade won’t look good on me, I gave in! The packaging is just so pretty not to.

I already forgot how much I was supposed to pay her because instead of selling it to me, she gave it as a gift. She’s so sweet! By the way, we’ve been online friends since 2008 and met her once for my first purchase. She loves almost everything Korean 
and if you’re one of us, I know you can relate. Hell yeah!
Unfortunately I have already thrown away the box but it’s as cute as the actual bullet. This is the prettiest lipstick packaging that I own so far. I am blown away with its intricate design that makes me feel oh so girly every time. Even if it got expired, I don’t think I will have the courage to let go of it. LOL

It comes with 28 shades to choose from. Hola! If the 28 colors were available from Val, I surely went crazy what to pick. All the shades are gorgeous. She had shades 1, 2, 3. Obviously, I chose no. 2.
Shade No. 2 – Sugar Pink is one of their Best Sellers (labeled as HOT! – like me? lol, kidding)
As usual, the shade is not as accurate with the photos and advertisements. If I can have another tube, I’ll pick No. 3 instead or 24. I believe those shades will look better on me. Who am I to complain? I’m sold with the packaging itself already haha!

Lip Swatch
If I remember correctly, I got 3 swipes on my lips here. Color payoff is nice but as you can see, it settles on the crevices and sometimes accentuate dry parts of your lips. It is highly recommended to do your lip scrub ritual first before using this one. Another thing that I really like about it, it doesn’t make my lips dry. My lips stay moisturized with this on.

As expected, bf doesn’t like the lipstick *laughs* When he saw me wearing it, he was shocked and asked me to remove it because I look like Nicki Minaj (he’s not a fan of her, boys thing you know) and the color doesn’t suit me well for him. I was not embarrassed, as I already expected his reaction and I love Nicki Minaj so no biggie even if he calls me like that 100x haha! I was laughing so hard seeing his reaction. 
I honestly see myself more of like Barbie? Don’t disagree, just let me be.

✿ The shade is not 100% okay for me, I think it’s too light for my skintone.

TIP/s and RECOMMENDATION
☑ Exfoliate prior to application is a must.
☑ You can use lip balm first to condition your lips but in my case, I don’t since I find it moisturizing already.
☑ Don’t forget to bring it for retouching *wink*
REPURCHASE?
Yes, but not this shade. I love matte but I also like wearing dewy lips sometimes, plus I’m hypnotized with the packaging 
OVERALL
I love this lipstick, I just missed on the shade and I’m willing to try darker shades next time. Aside being a lipstick, it also works as a decor on my vanity table, it’s dual purpose. 
I don’t use this most of the time but I wear it if I’m not with the boyfie and I feel Nicki for a day 
WHERE TO BUY?
Not sure but I think they have this in bigger malls like SM Megamall or MOA.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I think I saw a Peripera kiosk in SM Makati.
