A friend asked me this question… What are your sources of joy?
I only have one answer… GOD
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance. —Ecclesiastes 3:4
Everything else is fleeting. Everything else will fade away… Money gives us no guarantees… Fame is only temporary… Pleasure, once it’s over, will leave you feeling empty… Achievements will be forgotten as time goes by… This moment shall pass… My mind will deteriorate… My body will eventually weaken… My youth gradually lost as I age… My life— It will never last.
Your statutes,Lord, stand firm; holinessadorns Your house
for endless days. — Psalm 93:5
But God will never change. And He will never fade… Because only God is eternal… And so is His love.
