Asia Central is a new delivery only outlet in DLF Phase 4, Gurgaon (now Gurugram. It serves Asian, Thai, Vietnamese, and Chinese food. If you look at the quality of dishes they serve, it is at par with the expectations. Delivery was well within time. Rather a little earlier. But when it comes to food the earlier the better. So that was the first delight factor that there was no delay in the delivery. Secondly, the quality of packing was good. So at the time of delivery the two significant aspects, time of delivery and quality of packing, both qualified with good marks. Now, let us come to food. Though the prices might look at little on the higher side, it matches with the quality and quantity of food.
This is the fourth outlet of Asia Central in Delhi NCR and first in Gurugram. The other three are in GK2, Vasant Vihar, and Shahpur Jat. My order and comments are as below:
Tofu cups: These are the reasonably good size of Tofu pieces with a good filling of finely cut vegetables. The pieces are soft and tasty. Not too spicy. Not much chilies too. Thus the dish is also ideally suitable for young children and elderly people.
Exotic Veg In Oyster Sauce: It has Broccoli, Mushroom, and other exotic Chinese vegetables. Excellent in taste, quality, quantity, and preparation. The credit should go to the chef for this. Will I like to reorder next time? Yes, of course. Good gravy and a fine balance of spices.
Food Is Tasty and Quality is Good At Asia Central
Cantonese Steamed Fish: This is the fine quality of fish. Its gravy is on the sweeter side. Well, a little of sugar is always there in a Cantonese dish. Otherwise, at 400 plus, the dish is a little overpriced in my opinion.
Veg Garlic Fried Rice: Perfect for preparation, quality, quantity, and presentation. Dry, non-oily, and light. The right mix of garlic and not heavy in spices. I would love to go for a repeat of it too next time.
Overall, quality of food from Asia Central along with quantity and packing is fine. In fact, plastic boxes quality also is okay. In addition, the delivery was well within time.
