You know guys how much I love wearing eyeliner. It's the first ever makeup that I studied, learned, and mastered how to apply. I can go out without any makeup, just eyeliner. YAAS! And as you notice, I often wear the wing type. That's how I discovered Michelle Phan's channel on YouTube when I was searching for a tutorial.
So today I'm gonna show you how you can go for bold and bright makeup this summer without going overboard, featuring some of the newest products from Maybelline.
For the base I used the Maybelline Dream Satin Skin in the shade B2. It's an air-whipped liquid foundation that feels so light on the skin yet gives a nice coverage that won't clog pores. It lasted the whole day on me however, my T-zone looked shiny after 3 hours, not the "bad shiny look" but the healthy, dewy one. I blotted my face once within 8 hours wearing the foundation. And just like how I test other products, I slept wearing this for a night and my skin didn't breakout, whatsoever. There are some foundations or face products that give me bumps / pimples the next day but with this, my skin is fine. **don't do this if your skin is not used to testing products this way**
TIP: Moisturize your skin but keep it to minimal during summer because the humidity is high this season. Use primer to make it last longer and top it with a layer of powder to seal if you have oily skin like me.
Eyebrows! I like this Maybelline Fashion Brow Duo Shaper in Brown. Normally for dual-ended eyebrow product, we'll have a spoolie on the other tip, but this one has a tapered sponge applicator while the eyebrow powder is on the cap. It's very easy to use and it helps make the brows look fuller. I like this shade, it's the closest to the color of my brow hairs making them look naturally bold and full. Retractable pens are great so there's no need for a sharpener. I believe it comes in Gray shade too, perfect for those who have solid black hair.
I still cannot move on with how good the newest Maybelline Creamy Matte lipsticks are (review soon), Touch of Spice is always out of stock, omg! and now they came up with the Vivid Mattes! I have 3 shades but the one I used is the Neon Pink color. It's so bright yet very wearable even at day time and perfect for summer! This lipstick is opaque and pigmented. It'll give your lips a nice tint when faded. So even if you eat a lot of oily food, your lips won't look bare.

And of course to complete our Back to Black look, let's all welcome the newest addition to my favorite , the HyperSharp Power Black! I've been getting comments and messages from you guys that you love the HyperSharp wing (thanks for always considering my recommendations! *hugs*) but you're also thrilled to try Power Black! Well, if you loved the Laser and Wing liners, I bet you'll like this too! Just like its siblings, it's waterproof and smudge-proof too but, blackest! The super fine brush tip glides smoothly on the lids making it easier to apply and draw. It dries out matte and lasts the whole day.

See, you can go with bold colors that easy this summer! One swipe of a good eyeliner can really make a huge difference. Your eyes will look bigger, bolder, and lifted. It's time to experiment with colors this season and rock that neon lips!
