Baker Days Personalised Cakes - The Perfect Gift

Posted on the 19 December 2012 by Mummysspace @mmeeee
I was recently asked if I would like to review the Baker Days Personalised Letterbox cakes and after looking on the site not only was I hugely impressed but I knew the perfect way to put it to the test. My mother-in-laws birthday was coming up so I thought a cake for her would be ideal.
I was given a choice of cake flavours which included sponge, carrot, fruit, gluten and wheat free or double chocolate chip. I went for the double chocolate chip as I thought it sounded the most yummiest. Next I had to pick from the many varied and fantastic designs on the site, there really is something for everyone with categories including Funny, Kids, General, Princess and so on. I decided on the Flowers Photo Upload as I wanted to personalise it with a picture of my mother-in-law as a baby. Finally I supplied the address and date I wanted it to arrive by. It really was that easy.
There was much excitement when the mystery package arrived. My mother-in-law absolutely loved the cake and was amazed at how her picture was on it. I was seriously impressed with the way it came out, the picture was cropped perfectly and the flower design around it placed perfectly. Along with the cake candles, a party whistle, card and balloons also arrived which was a lovely touch.
Baker Days Personalised Cakes - The Perfect Gift
These cakes are simply awesome, they make a wonderful gift, so thoughtful and I love the personalisation. They are guaranteed to bring a smile to the recipients face. It looked so good it was no surprise that my mother-in-law was slow to actually cut it but when she did it certainly passed the taste test.
Baker Days personalised cakes are available in three sizes - letterbox, small and large with prices starting at £14.99. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a special gift idea.
*Disclaimer: I received a Baker Days letterbox cake free of charge in exchange for a review. This has in no way biased my opinion, all views are entirely my own.
