I was about to post this earlier but I’ve watched my Room Tour video, then got hooked watching more room tour videos! Unfortunately, I accidentally unplugged my laptop (battery is busted!), wordpress didn’t save my post to drafts *cries*, so I have to start from the top! Whew!
Moving on, since it’s summer, I’ll take advantage of the season to post more summer-related reviews and articles for you! Here’s another set of lipsticks that will totally brighten your look and give you an electric vibe this summer!
L’Oreal Color Riche Lipsticks – Electric Collection
Out of the 30 Color Riche shades (matte and satin), they included 5 shades for the Go Electric collection. It comes in 3 matte shades – Glamor Fuchsia, Lincoln Rose, and Orange Power, and 2 satin shades – Pop Up Pink and Touch of Amaranth.
Packaging: Each tube is sealed with plastic when you buy them. You can refer to this photo on my instagram account for reference. The plastic seal has the label “L’Oreal Color Riche”, with code and shade name, plus ingredients. I love the tube! Matte ones are in silver tubes while the satins are in gold. I appreciate the color identifier in front of the tube so there’s no need for you to open it if you’re looking for a nice shade to wear.
The retractable tube goes all the way down, protecting the lipstick so no worries about smeared cap.
Swatches (swiped 3x)
It’s super pigmented and long wearing. See those tint left on my arm. I have already used lip and eye makeup remover for that, then cleansing oil, plus a full force scrubbing but still, you can see some color left.
Now, here are lip swatches and looks for each shade for you to see how you can transform and look fresh by just swiping a bold lipstick! I just did a very simple eye makeup to divert the focus on my lips and see how a certain color can change your aura and style.
Bare Lips
L’Oreal Color Riche in Glamor Fuchsia (matte)
It’s a nice purplish shade with blue undertone. It can make your skin your bright and your teeth whiter.
L’Oreal Color Riche in Touch of Amaranth (satin)
For me, this one is the most wearable and safest shade from the Go Electric collection.
L’Oreal Color Riche in Pop up pink (satin)
This one is a Nicki Minaj-ish shade. Bright neon pink that looks beautiful from light – morena skin tones.
L’Oreal Color Riche in Orange Power (matte)
If you really wanna go for bold and adventurous summer look, there you have the perfect shade! There are some people who are not fond of seeing girls wearing orange / coral lippies, my boyfriend included. But as long as you’re confident with your look, go! For me, summer is the season for peach and corals!
L’Oreal Color Riche in Lincoln Rose (matte)
This shade is a bright red with orange undertone. It looks more opaque in person.
It’s the red that you can wear this summer both day and night.
Clockwise we have, Orange Power (matte), Lincoln Rose (matte), Glamor Fuchsia (matte), Touch of Amaranth (satin), and Pop up Pink (satin). Honestly, the photos don’t give justice to how beautiful these shades are. They look more opaque and vibrant in person.
Pigmentation: These lipsticks (both matte and satin), are highly-pigmented, creamy, and pitches real vibrant colors. All shades were chosen to flatter Filipina skin tone, yes even beautiful morena ladies can wear these shades! It’s very opaque. You’ll have full coverage in just 1-2 layers.
Lasting-power: Proven, they last all day! With eating and drinking, it’ll leave a nice tint on your lips, you’ll never have bare lips throughout the day wearing these. Just swipe another layer on top when you need to reapply after eating.
Overall and Tips! Always moisturize your lips before you use any lipstick. Matte shades can be a little drying and I highly recommend a lip balm underneath to prep your lips. The satin ones are very creamy and glides smoothly on the lips. Color Riche lipsticks are infused with Jojoba and Argan oils, they are very comfortable to wear every day.
