I was salon-tripping two weeks ago because it’s very rare that I go to the northern part of Manila so I took advantage and visited two salons after our photoshoot. My last stop before I went home was here, in the palace (yes it does look like you’re in a palace!) of Princess Hazel Salon & Spa.

When they invited me to visit and try some of their services, of course, I googled the place right away and felt so excited to pay them a visit when I see the beautiful interior! In here, I was meant to be! *lol*
Their theme really matches the salon name, Princess Hazel Salon where you will be treated, literally like a princess. You will feel like you’re in a palace while pampering yourself. Once you enter you will see this corner on the left, the waiting area. Sometimes they also accommodate their clients here during peak hours. They also sell pretty accessories and hair extensions here.
My favorite area in the salon, I am so in love with these english chairs! Super fit for a princess like me *wink! Royal blue, gold, and red carpet, crowns, ohh where is my scepter and my body guards? *laughs* But seriously, this is the first time I’ve been in a salon like this. I really appreciate all their effort for living to their theme.

The place is not too big and they got to maximize the space. Before I tried their services, they gave us a tour of the entire salon. It’s a two-floor salon. On the first floor, they have the reception, waiting area, facial room, hair and makeup room, and the recent one that I’ve showed you for hands and feet services.

Room for RFs (Radio Frequency) Treatments
I tried two of their services, the first one is this, Radio Frequency Treatment for the face. This treatment will enhance your facial shape. This treatment is very popular to actors, actresses, and other TV personalities.
TIP: You have to remove all your accessories and other metal object that you are wearing for safety purposes because it has something to do with the device.
I had to remove all my face makeup then they will apply this RF cream.
Then they will massage your face in circular motion repeatedly. First on one side then after the beep, they will transfer to the other side of your face. The wand comes in interchangeable plates. It gets bigger depending on the area like arms and tummy. For the face, the treatment is for only 15 minutes! Yes that fast! For the arm and body, it will take 30 minutes.
TADAN!!!! My before and after the RF treatment for the face, this is just one session my dear! You will notice that my face indeed got slimmer! OMG! Look at my cheeks and forehead. I think even my nose got slimmer, haha. Kidding aside, it’s effective and I’m very impressed with the results. I will definitely do this again after I get rid of my braces.
Reminders after RF Treatment:
1. Don’t drink cold water or anything cold for 6 hours after the treatment.
2. Don’t wash your face with water for 6 hours.
3. If you are going to clean your face, you can just wipe it off with towel or cleansing oil.
4. Proceed to your normal facial routine the next day.
The next service that I tried is their signature waxing, full-legs.
They use the entire line of GiGi products for waxing services. Honestly this was my first time to have heard of this brand so I was really curious. It’s really different from the normal hard wax and sugar (cold) wax that I’ve tried before.
First they will clean your legs by wiping them, put some powder then proceed to the treatment. Like the normal wax, they will heat the wax with the right temperature.
They will apply thin layers (yes thin layers, not massive thick layers of wax) then put the paper after a few seconds and whooosh! Bye bye hair! What I was really amazed with was that they only used one waxing cloth for my whole legs.
With GiGi wax, you don’t need to use a lot of waxing papers/strips. If you have experienced waxing before, you’ll get what I mean. The normal procedure I’m used to is using new waxing cloth each time you will put wax and strip the hairs but with Gigi Wax, one waxing cloth is enough for my whole legs. After removing the hair they will clean and apply cooling gel after.
TIP: Don’t wash your legs for 6 hours after waxing. Redness will disappear after a few hours as well.

Overall Experience:
Salon Interior – I am in love with the theme. All girls have dreamt of becoming a princess even once in our lives and going to a place like this while having your hair or manicure done feels like you’re a princess in a real palace.
Staff – Very accommodating and they know what they are doing. They make sure you are comfordable and getting the best treatment. I also appreciate the owner, Hazel for being hands-on to her business. She really checks on her clients from time to time while having their treatments.
Services - It’s another one stop salon that you should visit. They have treatments for the face and body, services like hair and makeup, for hands and feet, waxing, and massage.
Pricing – A little bit higher but still on the affordable side. If you want to pamper yourself and feel like a princess at the same time, experience is priceless and your fees are surely worth it.
It was such a great experience to be here. I’ve always dreamed of becoming a princess when I was a child and being in a place like this is such an amazing feeling for me. I feel like I’m sitting in my own princess-y throne *laughs*. If only the place is somewhere in the south metro, I will always visit. I hope they will have a branch near my place soon!
