This is the first time ever I'm gonna share a favorite read here on my blog. I love reading books whenever I have free time. I believe the last one I've read prior to this was Lola and The Boy Next Door, the third book in Anna and The French Kiss series by Stephanie Perkins. It helped mend my broken heart reading Divergent series. Have you watched Allegiant in theaters already?
Engagement ring by Zoey Philippines
This is mine but I'm not yet engaged 😉
Anyway, this book entitled Before I do by Kath C. Eustaquio-Derla is one that I can really relate to and I bet you guys who are on the marrying age like me will love this as well! Oh, you may read its prequel in E-book, What Am I To You .
Katherine C. Eustaquio-Derlais a journalism graduate from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila. In 2009, she wrote a relationship blog for Cosmopolitan Philippines under the pen name "Veronica". She's passionate about coffee, red wine, books, and Mad Men. She stopped collecting hearts when she got married in 2013 and went back to collecting Archie Comics ever since.
Before I do. For self-proclaimed "mean girl" Kit and the rest of the women in the world, finding true love isn't easy. But what if you meet a devilish stranger who challenges all the conclusions you have built in the past three years? What if you fall for him just before you got the perfect engagement, the perfect ring, and the perfect man? What would you do before you say "I do"?
"Before I do" is a hilarious, catty, and heart-breaking read for every girl who wants the wedding but not the responsibilities of marriage. Well, at least not yet.
What I love about this book:The author used characters in the book who exist in real life.
Tag-lish works for me now. I feel more into the the story.
The places / location mentioned are existing here in the country and feeds the imagination even more of every scene.
The story itself. It's a mixture of different emotions, all at the same time.
Bitin! But I'm so excited to read the sequel, ugh!
I can relate to Kit Castille, our lead in the story. When it comes to relationships, I want moments. But as Johnny said, it's not all about moments all the time.
I only got the chance to read the book last week though I have it for a month now I believe and I finished it in one sitting. Yes, that's how good it is! I mean, it's not too thick but the story will really make you flip pages agad-agad!
Kath C. Eustaquio-Derla with her "The One"
I'm turning 26 next month and people, including my parents keep asking me when I will get married? I have a boyfriend for 5 years now but, marriage is not a joke. It's a new journey of your life and since I'm still on the road to fulfilling my dreams, marriage is the last thing I have in mind. This book made me realize a lot of things, esp. those parts where I can relate to. Perfect timing.
For my girl friends / readers, this is a nice book you will truly enjoy reading! You can grab a copy from the list of bookstores below. Let me know if you were able to grab a copy and share your thoughts in the comments below!
