In August I signed up for a book swap over at All Things Bright and Beautiful. I was super excited to sign up for it because I love reading. I am a self-proclaimed book worm. Plus I was excited to see who I got and who got me. I bet the person who got me was confused since I love read pretty much anything. Then to make it worse if she checked out my blog, I wasn't much help there either. August and Septemeber were pretty crazy months for me. I didn't post as often as I should. (lesson learned: next time I move either post in advance or find guest bloggers.) First came the letter from my swap buddy. I was so excited to get mail. Big kid life has been sitting in with all the bills and junk mail. So when I get good mail I'm pumped about it. Inside was amazing card, book mark and her business card. I LOVE business cards. I enjoy seeing how each person and companies card is different. About a week later I got that actual book. I was soo excited. My husband played a mean trick on me. I called him on my way home to see how Heisman did for the day, and if my book came yet, of course. He said no. I was bummed. I was so ready for the book to come. I get home and he greets me with the book. I ran to the kitchen and get scissors or anything sharp to open my package. (Yes, I act like a little kid when I get package.) Here are a few pictures. The book I got is You're Already Amazing by Holley Gerth. It is absolutely amazing. I haven't read it all, but it is a great book. It is using God's truth and words to lift me up and not get stuck in a rut. I have only read the first 4 chapters, but there is so much GREAT information out there. The biggest thing I have taken from this book is That I am Enough. I am enough in God's eyes, and I don't need to prove anything. I also learned about not worry so much. I need to work on this so much. I tend to worry and over think a lot. Expect more to come.
