When we are in a hurry, sometimes we no longer wear makeup or maybe we do but we don’t put eyeshadows anymore. Get that eyeliner, curl the lashes and vuala! When I want to put some color on lids, I go for just one color eyeshadow. Today I’ll be sharing with you this very travel friendly eyeshadow, the Brillante Reve Waterproof Auto-eyeshadow.

Rich and deep in color and exceptionally long-lasting. Stick type, easy to carry, possible to touch-up anywhere.
This auto-shadow or should I say, auto-eyeshadow comes in 5 different colors: gold, brown, violet, blue, and pink which is the one I have. These auto-shadows are said to be long-wearing and very pigmented.
Packaging:
Very straight to the point. Just plain white pencil with a clear cap that feels quite sturdy unlike the other caps that I had before for my pencils. It’s an auto-shadow so it’s retractable. No need for brushes, just your finger to blend on your lids.
Ingredients/Scent:
Doesn’t have any list of ingredients in the packaging but it’s in the website (link at the end of the post). It doesn’t have any awful scent so if you have sensitive nose, this will work.
Formula/Texture:
It’s an eyeshadow stick so it’s creamy and really needs your finger to blend. The technique for this kind of eyeshadow is to blend-blend-blend with your finger.
Pigmentation/Longevity:
I’m impressed with how pigmented it is. Just a few strokes will give you a nice pink shimmer. I also like that its micro shimmers don’t fall off on my cheeks/face. I have experienced before when I used an eyeshadow stick and the shimmers went all over my face after a few hours, *eck!*
Here, I used it as a base for my eyeshadow and a liner on my water lashline to brighten up the eyes. It gives a nice shimmer on the lids (not overwhelming) and opens up the eyes.
Overall (likes/dislikes):
I like this eyeshadow stick. It’s very easy to use, perfect for traveling, and I really like the simple packaging of this product. It’s indeed waterproof and stays on for the whole day. It’s also acts as a nice base for shadows because it’s creamy-type thus makes the color pop-up a little more. I’m just concern with the blending part. Since it’s kinda sticky you’re prone to tugging your lids which can cause wrinkles so if you’re going to use this, don’t forget to be gentle when you blend it.
