Today I am going to review a lovely handmade soap from a relatively new brand called Burst Of Happyness!!
BurstOf Happyness is the brain child of Shreya, who herself is a bath fanatic and makes all the soaps available on the website at home :)
All the soaps are made by her in small batches using luxurious oils like olive oil, shea butter, cocoa butter and other ingredients available in the kitchen. These soaps have a high percentage of natural glycerin and sensuous scents. And these soaps do not contain any harmful chemicals!!

Now let’s start with the review!
Being a bath fanatic myself, I love hoarding on stuff and I just can’t resist bath supplies when they are organic. So while browsing the website, I saw a few samples for sale and selected 2 out of them. Personally I really liked the idea of samples; I have a very sensitive combination skin which is more on the oily side so I like to try things first just to be on a safer side.
Product: Green Tea Soap
What does the soap claim?Enjoy the benefits of Green Tea in this soap. Green tree is a great antioxidant and also helps reduce the damage caused by pollution and sun. It is also believed to fight acne and prevent skin cancer.This bar contains a lovely refreshing blend of peppermint and lavender essential oils in it which is cooling and also helps to relax.
Ingredients:Green tea, olive oil, coconut oil, canola oil, palmolein oil, soya bean oil, sunflower oil, peppermint essential oil, lavender essential oil, titanium dioxide (skin safe colorant in the top layer)Wt:90-100gms for Rs 150/- and the sample comes around 30-50gms for Rs 29.Fragrance and Texture:It has a very mild herbal-ly fragrance and the texture is pretty soft and creamy. The soap lathers extremely well.
My take on it:Well I have been using this soap for a month now. I use it once every night on my face before my CTM routine (I skip the cleansing milk). Since I have oily skin, I feel with regular usage my skin is actually behaving well. I have always hated to get up with a super oily face in the morning and nothing seemed to control it, but I can see some little changes here :) my skin feels less oily and it looks fresher when I wake up now!! The +ves1. leaves the skin squeaky clean.2. Extremely mild and gentle.3. Doesn’t dry out the natural moisture from the skin (in my case)4. It didn’t break me out.5. Controls oil.The –ves1. People with dry skin may find it a bit drying.Overall, it’s a very nice soap which worked for my sensitive skin!! I am definitely going to get myself a full size of this one and also I am planning on a lot of samples :)I already have a wishlist ready once I finish off this one and the other soap (Lager Lather) that I bought.1.
