I had asked several bloggers that I knew who have gone through rebranding. They all have been so amazing and wonderful. At the time I couldn't pull the trigger. It wasn't until I found and be stalking (er, I mean following) Alisha from The Alisha Nicole. (Side Note: If you don't know who this girl is you need to check her out. I absolutely LOVE blog and shop.)
But before all that I need to give some credit to Ashley from Hey Ashley Noelle who told me back a while ago that I should change it to my name. When I talked to her all my social media handles were @jessaolson. I was trying to keep my professional life separate from my blogging life. I don't know why I didn't combine them earlier. But I want to give credit to all these amazing bloggers because I should have made the switch a long time ago.Another blogger, Crystal Faye from Shop Crystal Faye was amazing and the reason that I started my etsy store. It started with elastic hairties and has moved into handmade and one of kind crocheted items.
Then I moved to West Virginia, and wasn't in love with the name anymore. I wasn't connecting with it. I feel like there is more to me than Jessa "The Sports Wife." I love doing a lot of things other than sports stuff. I didn't feel like I could really do that with the old name. I have absolutely LOVE the changes and so happy with it. The name change has made me fall in love again with blogging. So not only a name change I'm not going to be here everyday. I am going to do 3 times a week. These past few months that I have been moving and getting settled in WB has made me realize that I don't need to be at this blog ALL the time. I was so consumed with numbers and page views. That's not the reason I started this blog. It was to show my life to friends and family. I'm still debating on advertising sponsors. They take so much time and I just want to please everyone. I want them to get their money worth. I just don't know what I want to do.
