Chocolate-filled Graham Cake
For the longest time of liking desserts since the time begun (lol), I was looking for one that is easy to make and that can satisfy my cravings for sweets when I feel it. I remember seeing how to make one of these waaaay back in high school being it a project in one of our subjects.. I already forgot what subject was that but it was clear that I was not paying attention then because it is just recently that I really learned how to make one. Well, I am taking advantage of that opportunity as I am now experimenting on combining things and partnering it on other desserts to make it more interesting and tasteful. It usually comes with fruits but I like it simple. When I often make one, I usually do a plain one (without any toppings or fillings inside other than the milk and the cream).I once mixed it with milk chocolate peanut bars and it was not a great idea. I thought it would make the texture more chewy which it did but the taste just did not jive at all haha! It was fun doing it and this is one of the reasons on maybe why I am into these activities lately.. I guess it comes with age also as things that would make you relax more are now being appreciated better. Oh man, I am now consciously turning into what we think our parents are many years back. And I don't know what to say to that.. Haha!
Anyway, let us go to the main business which is the making of the Cadbury - KitKat Graham Cake.
Basically, it is as simple as making an ordinary Graham cake but instead of putting fruits, we use other famous chocolates in it. How did I make it? Watch here.

Ingredients: (Brand is optional, I will mention important factors when necessary)
- Graham crackers, other biscuits are possible too- Milk (preferably "condensed" but others like "evaporated" can be considered too)- All-purpose cream
Optional for this version:- Chocolates (usually done with fruits as stated above)
Kitchen utensils: Since this is a no bake creation, simple things are needed
- 1 food container (preferably medium in size)- 3 kitchen bowls (milk & cream mixture, Cadbury mixture and KitKat mixture)- A mixer (spoons will be great)- Extra kitchen bowl for crushing grahams if you don't have the crushed ones ready- Scissors (In the video, I only used it to open the boxes containing the creams)- Knife (To be used once the cake is ready for eating)
Step by step process:
1. Prepare and process all the following:
- Mix cream and milk in a kitchen bowl (put aside an amount for the Cadbury mix)
- Break KitKat chocolate into smaller pieces
- Melt the Cadbury chocolate and mix it with the reserved cream and milk mixture
- Crush an amount of Graham crackers in a separate kitchen bowl (optional since it can be bought)2. Make a Graham bottom layer, place them beside each other and fill spaces with crushed Graham
3. Top them with the cream and milk mixture (try to even it)
4. Make a 2nd layer of Graham
5. Pour our Cadbury mixture next
6. Make a 3rd layer of Graham
7. After pouring the cream and milk mixture, add the KitKat pieces in here as well
8. Make a 4th layer of Graham
9. Pour our last milk and cream mixture
10. Finish it by topping the cake with all the remaining crushed Graham
Cadbury KitKat Graham Cake Ingredients
It is always a pleasure to prepare and know that I can make this and have it when cravings come. It is so easy to prepare as this is a no bake creation and it has common ingredients really. The greater thing here is the fact that it still has plenty of combinations to discover.. You can make it healthier by using fruits (the usual), make it sweeter by using more chocolates (something new) or make it something just the way you want it (your own version).
So why don't you give it a try and do your own version? Who knows as this might be the start of the business venture you are waiting for.
