California Triangle by Uzi Eilam is third and last in the International Espionage series. The series has 3 books. The first one was Singapore Under Attack and you can read my review of that book here. Next in the series was A Trap in Paris. The review is here. Finally, the third in the series is what I am reviewing now. Dr. Gideon Ben Ari is our hero in the series. I would call this series as high intensity and engrossing tech thriller. It also involves cyber attacks. While in the first book, Gideon has to handle high-tech Iranian cyber terrorists who intend to attack Port of Singapore by controlling their servers and bringing the complete port business to halt. It starts with losing the control of two giant sea vessels that just miss a serious crash into each other thus saving from a big disaster.

It was Gideon who gets an urgent call to handle the crisis. The moment he comes into the picture to investigate he finds out Iran’s hand in it. It was quite interesting to see Gideon mitigating this cyber conspiracy so intelligently and mindfully. Similarly, in the second book, we see Iran developing long-range missiles and nuclear weapons to create terror in the international corridor. Again, it was Gideon, an ex-army officer from Israel Defense Forces. In the final book of the series, California Triangle, we find Gideon busy in a secret project for defense. The aim is to equip them with some technology to tackle multi-ballistic missile attack coming from different locations at a time. Dr. Gideon is busy in developing an algorithm to create a foolproof system in place. Meanwhile, he also has to ensure that he doesn’t fall prey to the trap of Iranian Revolutionary Guards.

California Triangle Continues With The Same Intensity In The Series

The cover picture of all the three books is rightly matching with the theme and story. As a matter of fact, the combination of a fabulous cover and title creates a good amount of interest right in the beginning. In my opinion, the series is a good fit for a Hollywood thriller. In fact, in California Triangle, the characterization is quite strong that makes it an interesting take. Noam, Gideon’s daughter plays an interesting role in the story. So does Dan. Obviously, the complete pack is a treat for all the book enthusiasts who love to read techno-thrillers. Just go for a read and it will not disappoint you.
