Cosmopolitan and Bobbi Brown Makeup Masterclass

I was recently invited to attend a very interesting event held at Select City Walk, Saket. It was an afternoon of color and beauty at the Cosmo and Bobbi Brown Makeup Masterclass.

We empower women with the knowledge ad products they need to look ad feel their best." ~ Bobbi BrownThe masterclass included tips on getting your base right, perfecting the smokey eye, and choosing the right shade of lipstick. Especially for this event Eduardo Ferreira (who is like a right hand to Bobbi Brown) and Eliano Bou Assi came down to India to share their tips and tricks on how to perfect makeup and also to showcase the brand's new launches. 

The fun session started with an introduction of Eduardo Ferreira and then there was no looking back. I must commend Eduardo for making this session so much fun and intriguing :)The first thing that was introduced in terms of products was the brand's new range of  "Secret of the Universe" which included products for dark circles and tired eyes : primers, correctors and concealers. "Bobbi Brown correctors and concealers are skin tone correct so they look natural on all skin tones , from fair to dark andthey actually help maintain skin's moisture levels for a smoother, lineless look "A live demo was shown by Eduardo for perfecting the art of correcting and concealing the dark circles and puffy eyes. *Tips on how to find your perfect concealer shade:Choose a Bisque Corrector if you have blue or purple under eye darkness. Choose a Peach Corrector if yu have green or brown under eye darkness.Next, a 5 minute Smokey Eye makeup technique was shared!!I have always been a fan of smokey eyes and this was the main reason I attended the event. Eduardo made it look so easy :)*Technique1. Prime the eyes with a cream eye shadow/primer.2. Line your upper lashes with a gel eyeliner (black, dark green/olive, brown), be messy :)3. Start blending the gel liner with a blending brush upwards towards the outer corner of the eyes.4. Top the eye lids with a tad bit of eye shadow (optional)5. Apply Mascara.Tada!! You have your smokey eyes :))Unfortunately, the event ended here followed by Hi-Tea, due to back to back sessions!!
