Ben is very excited about Christmas already, he loves seeing the trees decorated in the shops and he keeps talking about Santa Claus. He made me laugh at the weekend when out of the blue he pointed at our new fireplace with it's stove and said "Santa will come whoosh down there to visit". He then went on to tell me "it's special magic you know". I just love the innocence and unquestioning belief of children at Christmas time as they get caught up in the magic of it all. It's a very wonderful thing to witness and be part of.
Ben has also started his Christmas list which takes the form of photographs of a variety of childrens toys he wants to ask Santa for along with a very important request for a ball and a bone for Coco the chihuahua. It has worked out quite well actually as if we are in a toy shop and he sees something he likes he takes a picture of it with my iPhone rather than begging us to get it for him there and then (well most of the time anyway). Thankfully he's being rather picky and it is quite a short list so far with many photos of the same toys. Our plan is to email Santa with his list once he has finally finished.

So there you have it, just nine more days left in November to get things sorted around the house and believe me there is a lot to do. Christmas is just the motivation I need, although I have to admit being pregnant with twins is definitely making me tire a lot easier than normal but thankfully my husband is doing a great job unpacking and sorting things too. I'm definitely going to be relying on online shopping for presents and food this year and I'm determined not to panic, it will all come together in the end. I really want this to be a special Christmas for us all and I have a feeling we are going to have a very excited little boy on our hands come Christmas Day.*Disclaimer: This post contains a paid for link.
