Culinary Dropout Review

A few weeks I got invited to lunch at Culinary Dropout. It was to benefit the Make A Wish foundation and to train the employees for the Grand Opening!
I had never been before so I was really looking forward to it. I asked my friend Amanda because we haven't gotten to hang out much.
Right when you walk in you notice the atmosphere which is laid back fun. There are so many fun things on the wall. The longer you are there the more you notice.
Culinary Dropout Review
Culinary Dropout ReviewWe ordered appetizers first. We ordered antipasta. I don't remember everything we ordered but it was delicious. Amanda and I were so hungry we finished it all.
My favorite was the pretzel balls and cheese fondue. It was delicious. I could eat these as a meal too. So we chowed through these and then got our Antipasta.
The other appetizer that we got was bread and vinegar. It was amazing. We only ate half and took the rest to our men. They were busy actually working while we were out eating and hanging out. I really don't remember all the different meats that we gotten and like a bad blogger I didn't take a picture until afterwards.
Culinary Dropout ReviewFor the main course we decided to order different things so we both try different things. Amanda got the Country Fried Chicken with Mashed potatoes and gravy. I got the Italian Grider. Mine was alright, but not what I was expecting. I ate half and left the other half for Gary to finish. He said it was alright, but nothing fantastic.
Below is a picture of all the appetizers. We ate about half them and took the rest home to our guys.

Here is all the stuff that I took home for Gary. He was very happy that he had lunch because he was starving!! He enjoyed but wasn't completely sold on it. I told him he was better warmed up. He also enjoyed the fact that I got a piece of cheese from Iowa. (It's the white block right above whole pretzel hole.) I had to get it for a little hometown representin!!

We even got dessert! We chose Monkey Bread with ice cream. I liked the bread but it also had warm apples in the mix too. I wasn't big on that, but overall yummy! We didn't leave any for the boys. Sorry!
Culinary Dropout Review     It was great to hang out with Amanda because we really don't get to see each other very often. I wish we had more time to hang out because she is great, but our schedules just never line up. I have made it much more of a priority to hang out with the girls. Culinary Dropout Review
