Cure Natural Aqua Gel Review

Posted on the 30 April 2013 by Ileodarod @ilevillegas
Although I'm a big believer of what exfoliation can do for you, I'm going nowhere with my hunt for the perfect facial scrub. The ones that makes use of "natural" seeds such as St. Ives do the job of scrubbing but they tend to be too harsh. Those with gentle micro-beads feel like they're not doing enough. So when Sample Room featured Cure Natural Aqua Gel, I was curious and quickly got myself samples.
Cure Natural Aqua Gel Review
MADE IN JAPAN
There are plenty of reasons why Cure got my attention. One is the claim that it's Japan's No.1 exfoliator. If there's one thing that I'm certain about products that are made in Japan, it's that they're of really good quality. May it be cars, electronic appliances, clothes and food, everything is done really well. To be on the top amidst a culture that only accepts excellence, this exfoliator must be really something.

EXFOLIATIOR WITH ZERO BEADSAnother thing about Cure Natural Aqua Gel that caught my attention is the fact that it has no beads at all! What is it then? Basically, it's just water - the magical type that came from unicorn land. hahaKidding aside, it really feels like it's just water. It's clear and scent-free. It's also hypoallergenic and doesn't contain any preservatives.

It comes off a clear gel that turns into runny liquid once you massage it to your face.
HOW DOES IT WORK?It doesn't have any beads so how does it exfoliate? The thing with Cure Natural Aqua Gel is that it removes approximately 0.01mm of dead skin cells in a gentle manner.
So I tried it at the back of my hand first.Cure Natural Aqua Gel Reviewjust washed and towel-dried.
Cure Natural Aqua Gel ReviewA bit of Cure Natural Aqua Gel. I applied too much here btw. A little goes a long way with this product.
Cure Natural Aqua Gel ReviewDistributed but still a bit gel-like.
Cure Natural Aqua Gel ReviewFinally, after massaging the product on my skin. Those white bits are dead skin cells that just came off. Think libag.
I simply rinsed this off and my skin felt smoother and well-moisturized, not dry at all!
Of course I tried this on my face too after washing and patting it dry!

Cure Natural Aqua Gel ReviewThere you have it ladies and gentlemen, all the libag from my face.
I know my skin was indeed exfoliated well when I tried to use a toner after using Cure. The cotton ball remained clean and dirt free when normally it is still able to accumulate even after washing!
THE SPOON EXPERIMENTIt made me wonder. What if the product doesn't really remove dead skin cells? What if it just clumps into those white bits as it dries up? So I did the spoon test. It's such a waste of product but I just have to find out.
Cure Natural Aqua Gel ReviewSo here you see Cure Natural Aqua Gel in a spoon.
Cure Natural Aqua Gel ReviewAfter 1 hour. It doesn't even turn into liquid. I blew this by the way, that's why it flattened.
Cure Natural Aqua Gel ReviewAfter another hour. It still looks the same!
The reason why I used a spoon is because it's made of metal and metal is a good conductor. I was wondering too what makes Cure Natural Aqua Gel turn into liquid. I was thinking that it's probably body heat. So I rubbed the back of the spoon, until it's almost as warm as my hand, but the product still retained it's gel-form.
It dried completely after several hours and it just looks like a sticky dried gel, nothing that resembles that white libag-like clumps at all.
I couldn't be happier with the results!
PRICE:By now, I'm convinced that this is one product that should definitely be included in everybody's beauty regime. One bottle is sold every 12 seconds in Japan so I guess the people there figured that out already. The price, however, poses a problem for me. At P1,500 for the 250ml bottle, it's too pricey for me.

A little goes a long way with this product though. This sachet I got from Sample Room is actually more than enough for my whole face so I'm still considering getting this product when I'm no longer broke

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:(as copied from the brochure in the picture)Q. Does Cure possibly remove too much skin cells?A. No cure itself does not dissolve body protein. As long as you gently massage Cure into your skin, you help preserve healthy skin cell layers during exfoliation. Avoid scrubbing - which is equivalent to rubbing you skin too hard with a wash cloth or using harsh soap that is unhealthy for your skin.
Q. Can I apply Cure on my body?A. Yes you can. Cure can be used on your neck, elbows, knees, and even on your clutches.
Q. How long does one bottle last?A. One bottle contains 250ml and one push of the dispenser equals 1ml. If you use 8 pushes of the gel and apply twice a week, one bottle will last up to 8 months.
Q. Nothing comes off while I am applying Cure?A. Cure doesn't work well under wet and cold conditions. Store at room temperature and make sure hands and face are dry during use.

Rating:4.5/5I think this product should be cheaper so a bottle can sell every 12sec in the Philippines too it can work as a staple.
