It's been a while since I last shared with you guys my Skincare Routine. It was June last year when I talked about my on my YouTube Channel. I've tried different products and techniques since then. I normally change products / brands every 1-2 months to avoid skin immunity to certain ingredients and achieve maximum results. Today, I really wanna share this new brand I discovered to you guys because, I am truly amazed with how it works on my skin. I usually allow 1-2 weeks for skincare products to see how they react on my skin but with this, I already feel the change in first use, NO joke!

It's one of the best selling brands/products in Korea. They offer different variants to target specific needs of the skin. Lacto Fresh CTRL A is great for people with oily and sensitive skin, it's my skin type so I got them.

Step 1: Proud Mary Natural Whipping Cleanser

I use this 2x a day, (morning and evening). I noticed the effect upon first wash. My skin felt so dull before using this due to stress from work and bad eating habits. Proud May Lacto Fresh feels so gentle on the skin and easy to rinse. Pat dry with a clean facial towel or tissue, I feel that my skin is smoother (different level), and super soft like baby butt skin. I'm not that much a fan of squeaky clean feeling because it makes my skin dry and stretched but with this cleanser, my skin feels clean yet hydrated and healthy, yes just by first use and it gets even better as I use it more often.

Step 2: Proud Mary Pure Calming Toner
Sub-acid toner helps regulate pH balance and calms irritants effectively with small molecule lactobacillus and botanical active agents.
You'll definitely love this toner because it never stings and feels so light on the skin. It's runny but a little thicker than water. You can apply it with your clean hands (palm and do patting motion technique to lock in the nutrients to the skin) or use a cotton pad like normal.
Step 3: Proud Mary Lacto-fresh CTRL A Skin Relief Essence
Botanical lactobacillus helps regulate excessive sebum production and variety of soothing agents alleviate irritation and stress.
I think this is the one in charge for controlling my excessive oil on my T-zone. When I started to use these products, I noticed lesser oil production on my face. I still get oily after a few hours but it's not like before when I feel like I have grease all over my face. I can say it looks dewy than oily. It makes the skin so soft and prepared to absorb more nutrients and benefits from the products that you will apply after.
Step 4: Proud Mary Lacto Fresh CTRL A Perfect cure cream
5 types of botanical lactobacillus and soothing agents help reinforce cell density and protect skin from irritants. Soothes and moisturizes for all day long.
This is like a moisturizer. I apply it before sunblock. A little goes a long way and make sure to control the amount you put on your face. I had this experience when I put too much stuff due to excitement and noticed my skin gets oilier than usual. You can apply dots on your forehead nose, cheeks, chin then spread them gently using your clean fingers.

Texture / Consistency
The Toner is more like a facial lotion, very hydrating. As for the essence and perfect cure cream are almost the same tho I'm actually used to the watery consistency when it comes to essences since I have oily skin. The cleanser has the thickest consistency and it's my most favorite among all 4 in this set.
Scent
Each of them has identical smell. The mildest, almost non-scented is the perfect cure cream and the strongest (though still mild for me) is the essence. For this criteria, the cleanser still smells best. It's like mild soap / powder but better version, which I like.

Effectivity
I'm a huge believer of synergistic effect where products work in harmony. That's why I always advise to use products from the same line or brand to achieve maximum results. If you're going to combine different products or brands, always check the ingredients and see if they work together. There are ingredients that don't go well with certain ones so always do your research especially it is your skin, the largest organ of the body.
