Well, a week has passed. Where have I been? Decompressing.
School's out for now so I've been enjoying my time off in between work and spending a lot more time at the MMA gym. I have been at this gym a month but just started the night classes last week (I couldn't do it before because of school so I just used the gym during the day for weights, punching bags and machines). I did MMA for about 2 years but took a break due to school. Out of all the working out I've done, MMA is by far the best and I'm hooked on it. As far as the Rooooooskie goes, I'm more dedicated to it now that I'm done with school. I'm still having a hard time grasping the hard/soft sounds of the language. To put it bluntly, it's a pain in the ass. It means I have to develop a Rooooooskie accent, which should be the pretty easy part since I find myself talking with a slight Balkan accent after speaking on the phone with my dad (who sounds like Borat. I am not even joking about that).
Oh and I also found this article that features the top ten most hazardous cities in the world: Chernobyl ranked in along with Kantubek, Vozrozhdeniya Island (while not technically in Russia, it was still an area used by the Soviet Union to test biological weapons) and Chechnya. Let's just say taking a vacation to Vozrozhdeniya Island and taking a swim in the ocean won't be in my itinerary this summer.
