Hi guys! I realized it's been a while since I made a restaurant review. So here let me introduce to you one of my favorite restaurants back when I was studying in Davao.
My mother had always been a regular customer of this place to when she was in college. Needless to say that even if we don't live in Davao, Dencia's is a long time family favorite. They have a huge selection of food to choose from, but the one dish that we never fail to order, and is also their best seller, is their Lugao Goto and Tokwa't Baboy.

Everyone loves Dencia's version of this classic pinoy dish.Dencia's, Davao CityLugao Goto - P60
This has a savory soup with a generous amount of innards and meat.

The meat for this dish came from the pig's face so it's soft and full of flavor. I just love how the pork, the tokwa and the spices are mixed together.
Dencia's, Davao CityKari (Baka) with Bago-ong - P245
Dencia's Kare-kare may be heart-clogging, but you won't be able to help but dig-in. The sauce is so rich with peanut and the bago-ong complements well with the dish.

This goes with a spicy sweet and sour dip. I love how the skin is crispy and the meat, juicy.

This one is just mildly sour. They use kamatis instead of sampaloc. The soup isn't bland and the fish is soft and not "malangsa".

As you can see, this restaurant is very very affordable. You won't believe you'll only be paying that much. Their place is very cozy and clean. The servers are very polite and always ready to attend to your needs.
