During summer season, I opt for makeups that last long since I’m just so lazy to retouch my makeup. Well, I better say, even if it’s not summer. For the past two months I’ve been only using 3 blushes and this product that I’m going to review today is my most favorite. I have mentioned this on last month’s favorites as well, it’s the Ellana Minerals Pressed Blush Duo!

I am in love with the packaging. The illustration is by the talented Soleil Ignacio. It also comes with a mirror that makes it very easy to use especially when retouching. The whole box is in white but it’s very easy to clean. I just use a tissue to wipe off everything after I use it to keep it clean and neat.
It comes in two colors. Obsession (left), Fulfillment (right). You can use the darker shade to contour your face then the pinkish one as blush. Mix them together to create a natural flush, no need for bronzer! Whenever I use this blush duo, I don’t need to apply bronzer anymore. It looks very natural on the cheeks and lasts long despite the weather here in our country. I have combi – oily skin but this blush survives on me! *laughs*
You can use the color separately. Fulfillment is a nice peachy shade (watermelon peach & gold shimmer). It blends really well on the skin and won’t give you any harsh lines when you contour. Don’t worry about the shimmers as I barely notice them. Obsession is a light mauve-y pink(sheer raspberry red) color. They are both highly pigmented. The swatches above are just single swipes for each color so you only need a few swipes and viola!
I mixed both shades on my cheeks.

Sericite, Silk Mica, Silica, Magnesium Stearate, Allantoin, Capric/Caprylic Triglycerides, Tocopherol Acetate. May contain +/- Iron Oxides
I love how it looks so natural on my cheeks and goes really well with almost every makeup look that I do. It also lasts more or less 6 hours on me without retouching. A little goes a long way! As you can see, I’ve been using this for the nth time already and I still haven’t hit pan!

CONCERN
✿ Maybe they can put more adhesive on the pan to make it stick more on the packaging as I can feel mine is a bit shaking already.
TIP/s and RECOMMENDATION
☑ Use the darker shade for contour then the lighter shade for blush.
☑ Mix both colors, it’ll be perfect for the apples of the cheeks, cheekbones, temples, and jawline.
REPURCHASE?
Yes but a new shade. I would love to try Light Roast/Butter Rum Coffee Blush Duo next time.
OVERALL
Aside from the adhesive of the packaging, I can’t think of anything that I don’t like in this product. It’s a multipurpose blush and goes well with different makeup looks. You can use it light for daytime look then add more if you want it darker. It looks very natural on me and lasts long. Also, it’s a mineral makeup so I don’t mind using it every single day.
